We support our clients through sharing our network, in Switzerland and abroad, connecting them to parties with potential mutual interests and/or acting as possible solution providers.  This applies to requirements such as acquisition, investments, partnership, procurement among others.

BPD also provides specific advisory services at an early stage of a project. 

Our team provides expert advices and support to contractors, developers, investors, exporters, borrowers or banks on matters such as financing, contractual structure and procurement. Our services cover various phases of an investment, starting with financial modelling and risk analysis, to structuring, arranging and documentation of the financing, including security package or other risk mitigation tools required for the lender or the exporter.

Our role is to structure a project and its contracts up to the point that it is eligible for financing and to propose our client a choice of lenders for the specific transaction. 

Until April 2024, BPD co-managed Xport Finance AG (“XFi”), Switzerland’s first non-bank ECA lending vehicle, through a sub-supplier mandate with AIL Structured Finance AG. XFi exclusively engages in transactions covered by the Swiss Export Credit Agency (SERV). BPD was responsible for originating, arranging, structuring and negotiating of XFi's transactions, among other.
